Back to basics

שנים שזה החלום שלי, לדעת לתפור ולצור את הבגדים שלי בעצמי, להצליח להוציא מוצר מסקיצה או רעיון. משהו כ"כ בסיסי שפעם כל אישה ידעה, היום זה כבר שונה, לכל תיקון הכי קטן רובנו רצות לתופרת. החלטתי שלא עוד, אני רוצה ללמוד לתפור ואני רוצה לממש חלק מהפנטזיות האופנתיות שלי. אז נכון, אני רק בהתחלה ויש לי עוד המון ללמוד ולהתאמן, אבל את החצאית האדומה הזו שאני חושקת בה כבר די הרבה זמן, יצרתי מאפס.

לפני כחודש התחלתי ללמוד תפירה אצל שרה סמואל ומאז אני מאוהבת, בה, בתפירה וביצירה. כל שבוע במשך 3 שעות אני מתנתקת מהכל, עבודה, מחשבות, דאגות ומתמסרת לבדים. זה מתחיל עוד לפני, כשאני בוחרת על מה אני רוצה לעבוד ומסתובבת בנחלת בנימין במטרה למצוא את הבד המתאים ביותר.

כך בעצם, נוצרה החצאית האדומה הזו. על המראה הזה חשבתי במשך המון זמן, חצאית בצבע אדום נועז, חולצת פסים ואקססוריז מנומרים. אחרי שלא מצאתי חצאית כזו בחנויות, החלטתי לתפור בעצמי.

For many years I dreamed about creating my own designs. Just for me, not for selling or anything, just for the opportunity to create every sketch I ever came up with. Knowing how to sew is so basic but most women my age never learned it, so I decided it's time to change things and fulfill an old dream of mine. 
I am taking sewing classes with Sara Samuel and I just fell in love with it, it clears my mind, lets me escape everything, Every week for 3 hours, I'm united with the sewing machine. It actually starts before when I think of the design and choose the perfect fabric for it, that's how I came up with that skirt.
That outfit sat on my mind for long time, red A-line skirt, striped top, and leopard print accessories. I was looking for such skirt for a while and ending up sewing one by myself. So here is it...

Back from the desert

חזרנו מסוף שבוע בצימר בסוף העולם, שם בעיקר נחנו, אכלנו וצחקנו. הצימר נמצא באמצע המדבר, בישוב קיהלתי פצפון בשם עזוז, קרוב למעבר גבול ניצנה. אפילו פגשנו קצת ארבה.
חם במשך היום, קריר בלילה. סוף שבוע נטול איפור ואיכשהו, כשאני עוברת על התמונות, רוב מה שלבשתי היה בצבע כחול/ג'ינס. שדווקא מסתדר לי באופן מושלם עם צבעי המדבר.

We're back from a weekend in the desert. At the end of the world where we mostly rested, ate and laughed. We were in sort of a guest house, in a place called Ezuz. A tiny settlement near the Nizana border crossing. It was hot during the day and very cold at night, but I somehow enjoyed the dry weather. 

A weekend without makeup and when I look at the photos, I see that I wore only blue denim, perfect match to desert colors.

It's kind of fetish. I am sure. There's no other reason why as for the moment I am writing this post, there are over 300,000 tagged photos. For some it may be a point of view  but I have a thing for shoes. I love shoes, shoes have always been good to me (sometimes in the beginning they are playing it hard to get until the shoes get used to my feet), they flatter, set and decisive the total look. There is never too many. Here is a little piece of my collection, taken from my instagram (evilrona).

זה סוג של פטיש. אני בטוחה. אין סיבה אחרת שנכון לרגע כתיבת שורות אלו, יש מעל 300,000 אלף תמונות כאלה, ובכלל יש כאלה שלא תויגו. אצל חלק זו אולי נקודת מבט, לי יש קטע עם נעליים. אני אוהבת נעליים, תמיד טובות אלי (לפעמים בהתחלה הן משחקות אותה קשות להשגה עד שהנעליים והרגליים מתרגלות), תמיד מחמיאות, מגדירות הופעה ובכללי אין יותר מדי.
